Working Group on « Traceability & CSR Performance », Fashion & Luxury Sector Strategic Committee, 2019–2020
As part of the Strategic Contract for the Fashion and Luxury Sector (2019–2022), and more specifically Priority Area 5 : Developing a relevant traceability system for the French « Fashion and Luxury » sector, Participation in a working group bringing together 23 key figures from the Fashion and Luxury sector (manufacturers, brands, experts) with the aim of:
• Compiling an overview of the best available technologies
• Identifying the most sensitive areas in relation to sector-specific challenges
• Foster collaborative project-based working within the ecosystem
• Develop a shared understanding of traceability challenges
• Secure an effective and secure technological solution
• Finalise the industrialisation of solutions for marking materials and components in the sector and automate data reporting
• Facilitate the integration of the various solutions within the sector
• Establish positive communication with fashion and luxury consumers
The implementation of the recommendations developed for the « Fashion & Luxury » sector has enabled the launch of pilot schemes to test the tools with French brands.
